PlayStation Plus Free Games for June 2021 |
Just in time ahead of next month, Sony Interactive Entertainment reveals upcoming PlayStation Plus free game lineup of June, which becomes available soon for all subscribers on current and next-gen consoles starting from June 1, 2021.
PS Plus members are to get access to play futuristic co-op espionage game Operation: Tango by developer/publisher Clever Plays, arriving exclusively for PlayStation 5 platforms on release and will eventually leave the service at July 5, 2021.
Joining up next is Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, a remake of 2006 arcade fighting game by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and Sega. In a surprise entry, Star Wars: Squadrons will also be added to PS Plus for members on PS4, PS5 and PS VR.
A spin-off title to Star Wars Battlefront II, first-person flight combat game Star Wars: Squadrons by developer EA Motive and publisher Electronic Arts heavily focuses on multiplayer gameplay, which makes it a great fit for PlayStation Plus.
Getting a chance to play both PlayStation 5-exclusive co-op adventure game Operation: Tango at launch day and updated version of Virtua Fighter 5 on PS4 is a decent freebie offering for any PS Plus subscribers next month at no extra cost.
PlayStation Plus can still enjoy playing Battlefield V, Stranded Deep and Wreckfest before May 31, 2021. Virtua Fighter 5 will make its debut on PlayStation Now cloud streaming subscription service this month and leaves on August 2, 2021.
