There have been a number of leaks and rumors regarding upcoming action role-playing game Elden Ring by developer From Software and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment for last few months but none are officially confirmed yet.
Shortly after Microsoft denying rumors of a showcase earlier this week, a footage has now been leaked online. An alleged Elden Ring trailer shows off combat mechanics and various aspects of gameplay in a barely-visible, low-quality video.
Originally reported by VGC, a leaked gameplay trailer featuring an off-screen video recording of a fantasy setting inspired by Dark Souls franchise with a label of "Bandai Namco Confidential" is now being shared on a number of social media.
In a series of sequences, you can see a boss fight against a fire-breathing dragon, melee combat similar to Soulsborne genre, some horseback action, sword-wielding enemies and much more is taking place in a large open-world environment.
People on Twitter have lately been sharing several snippets of the alleged leak footage of Elden Ring trailer.

Entire segment of leaked gameplay seems to be legit so far and can be legally taken down from Twitter anytime. Another previous leak hinted at Elden Ring having larger maps than Dark Souls series and several additional gameplay features.
Although no release window was mentioned in newly leaked trailer, it is safe to assume that From Software's latest project was internally delayed more than once because of ongoing work restrictions for COVID-19 pandemic worldwide.
An unseen narrator can be heard saying the following throughout overall action sequence of new trailer.
I can only imagine what drives you to seek the Elden Ring. I suppose you can't be talked into turning back. Very well then!
Because of involvement from Dark Souls creator Hidetaka Miyazaki and fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin, fans are more than hyped for Elden Ring ever since its official announcement from two years ago, during E3 2019 press conference.
Recently leaked video is likely an indication that From Software and Bandai Namco will release an official Elden Ring trailer very soon. Despite having chances of being postponed to next year, eager fans can be shown a new trailer regardless.
