In a weird crossover between two dystopian universes, Kojima Productions have released a new Death Stranding content update for free to celebrate recent launch of highly-anticipated 2020 action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077.
Kojima Productions has added a number of free Cyberpunk 2077-themed cosmetic items and all-new hacking mechanics in Version 1.05, exclusively available now for PC version of Death Stranding via Epic Games Store and Steam.
Latest DLC update includes a couple of equipments like a Reverse Trike vehicle, "Trauma Team" floating vehicle hologram, Johnny Silverhand model robotic "Johnny Arm" and sunglasses for DS protagonist Sam Porter Bridges to use.
There is an inclusion of new Hacking function that lets you to disable MULE sensor poles, short circuit their vehicles and stun them. Sam can often use these functions to get an upper hand to combat enemies or disable their device.

Latest crossover content also features six new missions, introducing Cyberpunk 2077 characters and lore into world of DS. Aside from free DLC update, Death Stranding is also on 50% sale over at Epic Store and Steam for limited time.
Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima has already made a cameo in Cyberpunk 2077 as an NPC for a mainline quest titled "The Heist". You can also come across a BB (Bridge Baby) during your exploration in open-world of Night City.
