Dead Cells: Fatal Falls DLC Expansion Announced |
Over a week ago, developer/publisher Motion Twin, in association with Evil Empire has teased brand-new "Christmas Update" for roguelike Metroidvania-style action platformer Dead Cells, anticipating a mid-December launch window.
Following a favorable response to its first premium downloadable content The Bad Seed earlier this year, Motion Twin announces a second paid DLC expansion titled "Fatal Falls", which is set to release across all platforms early next year.
Motion Twin releases a new teaser trailer showcasing footage from upcoming Dead Cells: Fatal Falls DLC.
Fatal Falls DLC will introduce two new biomes; Fractured Shrines and Undying Shores as well as a new boss fight. Newest content drop will offer creative ways to explore two mid-game levels to eventually die repeatedly in variant ways.
Of course, no Dead Cells update is complete without a bunch of weapons and some extensive changes, which are soon to be revealed. Motion Twin has also teased development of a secret project but didn't share anything else at all.
Motion Twin and Evil Empire proudly declare that Dead Cells has sold over 3.5 million copies so far across all available systems. Soon as they finish development, twenty second major update will be rolled out this ongoing holiday season.
Dead Cells: Fatal Falls DLC expansion will be priced $4.99 only when it arrives on PC via Steam in early 2021, followed by a release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms on a later date yet to be revealed by Motion Twin.
