Upcoming next-gen enhancement update for GreedFall will probably take full advantage of new generation of hardware and is likely to add native 4K resolution support with higher framerates, which is yet to be revealed by Spiders studio.
Based on a fantasy-themed setting of alternate 17th century, GreedFall focuses on protagonist De Sardet, who traveled to the uncharted lands of Teer Fradee and engaged in a conflict when a greedy explorers group came to conquer it.
Focus Home recently signed an agreement with French video game company NACON regarding intellectual property of GreedFall. Though there was no mention of a release window, they will possibly roll out an update before Christmas.
There has been no definitive word on new GreedFall content but dev team promised to share more details very soon. Despite having quite refined RPG mechanics, Spiders will hopefully work out some of its technical shortcomings.
