A modern remake of 2002 critically-acclaimed crime action-adventure game, Mafia: Definitive Edition from developer Hangar 13 and publisher 2K Games is out now on PC via Epic Games Store and Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Nearly two decades ago, Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven made its historic debut and became an instant hit among players for its realistic portrayal of organized crime in America from 1930s and iconic story of mobster Tommy Angelo.

You play as a young Tommy who is a cab driver in Lost Heaven that came across an Italian crime family, causing him to lose the job. He then joins Salieri crime family as its newest member and will take on any jobs on behalf of Don Salieri.
Tommy Angelo earns his keep with Salieri by breaking laws and completing challenging missions throughout entire story of Mafia. By defending turf and taking hits on rival gangs, he eventually rises through ranks of criminal underworld.

To deliver a faithful remake, Hangar 13 makes improvement upon key-aspects of original game and overhauls its graphics with 4K remaster. Keeping current-gen consoles in mind, visuals are upgraded to complement its exciting gameplay.
Going back to Lost Heaven after all these years may surprise you since everything is completely revamped and build from ground up. Aside from some major graphical upgrade, Mafia gets an expanded story for Definitive Edition release.

Other notable changes include character redesign, enhanced lighting, revised models and much more for a new audience. There is a "Classic Difficulty" mode for Mafia series veterans to have an authentic experience of being a real gangsta.
Mafia: Definitive Edition has already been preceded by Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition in May 2020. By getting a copy, you can unlock Tommy's Suit and cab in Mafia II and III, or get Mafia Trilogy to have all at once.
