Overwatch Devs Wants Doomfist and Tracer in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Developers of Overwatch would love to see Doomfist and Tracer in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Assembling a total of 76 playable characters from 37 different franchises, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate from developer Bandai Namco Studios and publisher Nintendo becomes one of the biggest crossover titles in video game history.
Nintendo started rolling out new fighters for Fighters Pass Vol. 2 with Min Min from ARMS and developers of team-based online hero shooter Overwatch already have some popular character in mind to introduce within Smash Bros. universe.

While attending a recent AMA session on Reddit, game director Jeff Kaplan and lead hero designer Geoff Goodman were asked by fans that which Overwatch characters they think would be best suited for joining Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Kaplan was quick to respond saying "tracer plz", which is understandable given how Tracer has become sort of an official mascot for Overwatch. Goodman chimed in for Doomfist, stating that his design inspiration came from fighting games.

Smash Bros. Ultimate already has existing fighters similar to Doomfist and Tracer within its ever so inclusive roster. Another Overwatch character that can make a great draft is Winston, who could be a heavy combatant akin to Donkey Kong.
Since there are still five more vacant slots in Fighters Pass Vol. 2, it's about time that Nintendo finally considers putting heroes of Overwatch into exciting world of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and eventually let player community cheer in rejoice.
