Hitman 3 Release Date, Next-Gen Upgrade and Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed
IO Interactive announces official release date for Hitman III, free next-gen upgrade, pre-order bonuses and special editions.
In a surprise announcement today, developer/publisher IO Interactive has revealed an official release date, next-gen upgrade path, special editions and pre-order bonuses for upcoming stealth action-adventure game Hitman III.
Hitman 3 is set to arrive for Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X platforms on January 20, 2021. Players on current generation platforms will receive free next-gen upgrade for digital editions.

IO Interactive assures console players that if they buy Hitman 3 digital edition of on PS4 or Xbox One, they will be entitled to receive a free upgrade to next-gen version should they ever choose to migrate on PS5 or Xbox Series X in future.
Sony console owners can buy PS4 version of the game from PlayStation Store and download a PS5 version when it is available for no extra cost. IOI will use Smart Delivery feature to deliver free access for both versions on Xbox platforms.

Hitman 3 will only be available in Standard Edition, containing base game and Deluxe Edition, which features a Deluxe Pack. By purchasing latter edition, you can access artbook, Escalations, in-game items, soundtracks, suits and more.
Hitman III Standard Edition is priced $59.99 only, whereas Deluxe Edition will be costing you $79.99. PC version of Hitman 3 will remain an exclusive Epic Games Store for 12 months on launch before heading to other storefronts.

Pre-order bonus gets you three different sets of suit, briefcase and weapon from all three Hitman games in Trinity Pack on any platform. These unique items within your inventory are all engraved in gold with classic Hitman insignia.
Hitman III will conclude World of Assassination trilogy next year and will let you import maps from Hitman and Hitman 2. IO Interactive is self-publishing third Hitman game after moving on from Square Enix and Warner Bros. Interactive.
