Control: Ultimate Edition Announced, Coming to Steam
Remedy announces Control: Ultimate Edition for all platforms, also launching on Steam later this month.
In spite of having from a buggy launch, action-adventure game Control from developer Remedy Entertainment and publisher 505 Games end up receiving a number of accolades that includes Game of the Year from many media outlets.
To celebrate upcoming one year anniversary of release, Remedy has announced an Ultimate Edition of Control bundled with all content updates, both expansion packs and a bonus upgrade along with its Steam debut on August 27, 2020.

Shortly after launch, Remedy Entertainment revealed a post-launch roadmap for Control to add extra content. First free update introduced Photo Mode and endgame mode Expeditions, which gets followed-up by two story expansions.
Control: Ultimate Edition features all of the above mentioned content and a free upgrade to next-gen consoles for later this year. Players who purchase Ultimate Edition for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will receive a digital upgrade for next-gen.

Ultimate Edition will be priced $39.99 only, launching on all available major platforms as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Digital version will arrive at Epic Games Store, PS4 and Xbox One on September 10, 2020 upon releasing on Steam.
By the end of 2020, current-gen console will see physical release and next-gen versions will be launched digitally. Considering an ongoing global pandemic, retail copies for PS5 and Series X versions are expected to come out by early 2021.

Ultimate Edition comes packed with Control base game, first DLC expansion The Foundation, Alan Wake crossover expansion AWE, every other content updates released since August 2019 including endgame Expeditions and Photo mode.
Anyone who buys Control: Ultimate Edition is entitled to a free digital upgrade for next-gen console versions. Remedy Entertainment states in official blog that original owners of Control will not be eligible to get free next-gen support.
