Given how watching Spidey get into action is a visual treat for fans, developer Insomniac Games announces that Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be playable on PlayStation 5, at 4K resolution and in 60 FPS via an optional Performance Mode.

Sony Interactive Entertainment allowed their first-party developers to offer players higher frame rate or better resolution. Marvel's Spider-Man was smoothly running at 30 FPS on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro consoles.
Insomniac has yet to clear out what compromises will be made to get 4K/60 FPS output for Spider-Man: Miles Morales. It could very well be that turning on Performance Mode will disable real-time ray tracing and other rendering effects.
