The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon DLC Announced
Obsidian announces first DLC expansion for The Outer Worlds, titled Peril on Gorgon at Xbox Games Showcase.
An unexpected gem of 2019, sci-fi action role-playing game The Outer Worlds from developer Obsidian Entertainment and publisher Private Division received critical-acclaim and amazing sales milestone shortly after its anticipated release.
In response to an incredible player reception, Obsidian promised to release a narrative-focused DLC last year. TOW first expansion pack, Peril on Gorgon is announced today at Xbox Games Showcase and set to arrive on September 9, 2020.

Players will return back to Halcyon star system to take a new assignment that takes them to Gorgon asteroid. A bizarre adventure will ensue in deep space as you are tasked to investigate Spacer's Choice facility and face its perils.
You will be trying to uncover the mystery of a substance known as Adrena-Time stimulant, which is similar to bullet-time effect. Aside from new playable map, Peril on Gorgon DLC will add armors, weapons and raise level cap to 33.

During your time at Spacer's Choice, you will come across new NPCs and discover reasons behind shutdown of Gorgon Project. There will be new enemies to encounter and three new science weapons to wield for self-defense.
Players require reaching colonized moon of Monarch to get access to newly revealed open-world sections. At Gorgon, you will get to explore unseen corners of Halcyon colony that involves large outdoors and narrow interior.

Obsidian is currently planning to include nearly 6-8 hours long gameplay for latest expansion of The Outer Worlds, tied to main campaign. On a later date, Peril on Gorgon DLC will be released on Nintendo Switch handheld consoles as well.
The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon DLC will be available to purchase on PC via Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $14.99 only. Or you can buy TOW Expansion Pass for $24.99 to receive Murder on Eridanos on launch.
