Following recent gameplay showcase, some players noticed that some core mechanics like driving and shooting feels more off. While newly introduced Braindance mode seemed really impressive, one particular element got cut out.

It was revealed during a recent interview with Cyberpunk 2077 level designer Max Pears that player characters will not have the ability to run on walls as indicated in early videos and it has since been removed due to "design reasons".

An extended gameplay reveal video from Gamescom 2018 showed mercenary V putting wall-running ability into use. Pears states, although vertical traversal is now removed, players will still have plenty of flexibility in your movement.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently set to arrive on November 17, 2020 for all current-gen consoles and Windows PC. A free backward compatibility upgrade for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be released by CD Projekt Red this holiday season.
