Insomniac Games confirms Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales to release for PS5 on holiday 2020.
In a surprise announcement at PlayStation 5 Reveal Event, upcoming superhero action-adventure title Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales was showcased by developer Insomniac Games and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment.
Following initial announcement, many were uncertain whether they are getting a DLC or a full game and in a recent interview, creative director Brian Horton talks more details about Spider-Man: Miles Morales, set to arrive on holiday 2020.

Miles Morales is a Brooklyn teenager who got bitten by a genetically-altered spider that gave him powers and super-human abilities like Peter Parker, including his unique invisibility cloak and powerful bio-electric shots of Venom Blast.
Insomniac has introduced Ultimate Spider-Man, Miles Morales into Marvel's Spider-Man universe as a superhero at PS5 digital event. He is out for a self-discovery of being a hero just like his mentor in upcoming standalone adventure.

When working on previous game, creative director Bryan Intihar of Marvel's Spider-Man had an idea of making Miles Morales a part of Peter Parker's world and therefore, they revealed him to players in E3 2017 demo during PlayStation Briefing.
Given a different and multicultural background he comes from, Miles needed his own game to explore his origin story. He will be having a new plot, set-pieces, villains and unique quests to take on within New York City of Marvel's Spider-Man.

A year after events from first game, a war broke out before Christmas break between an energy corporation and a high-tech criminal gang. Miles Morales finds himself tangled in their web of conflict that takes place in his new home at Harlem.
Dev team of Spider-Man: Miles Morales are also very eager to showcase their game on new PlayStation 5 console, taking advantage of its impressive features for 3D audio, DualSense controller, instant loading, ray-tracing and much more.

Insomniac have plans to add more to Peter's story while they are working on solo outing of Miles Morales. Maybe fans will eventually get to see Spider-Man and his iconic Black Costume in a possible sequel title, reported in early rumors.
Players will have a full story experience with Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PlayStation 5, though in scopes of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Insomniac Games will reveal more story and gameplay elements before its release on holiday season.
