After an attempt to remake Crash Bandicoot original trilogy for modern-day gaming platforms have met with great success in recent years, rumor starts circling that publisher Activision is interested in reviving 90's popular franchise.
Recent leaked listing from Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee reveals Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time has been rated for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, developed by Toys for Bob, who previously worked on Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

Before people start noticing, those listings were removed from any search results for Crash Bandicoot. However, box art of the game confirms that aside from last-gen consoles, Crash Bandicoot 4 will be playable on Xbox Series X as well.
There are no mentions of PC or Nintendo Switch version release unlike N. Sane Trilogy and CTR: Nitro-Fueled. Also, worth noting is that PS4 box art doesn't giveaway any hint of PlayStation 5 launch or supporting cross-gen capability just yet.

Earlier, Activision has sent a series of jigsaw puzzles to many news media with a note saying, "A little something to help you pass the TIME" and sent from "Your Favorite Bandicoot", which revealed to be a new character resembling Aku-Aku.
These signs are all clear indication of a new Crash Bandicoot game announcement since Activision has sent out mysterious hints to various outlets before revealing Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled and Spyro Reignited Trilogy in past.

Industry analyst Daniel Ahmad has noted that latest Crash Bandicoot game will be officially revealed at Summer Game Fest on June 22, 2020, while denying any possibility of a Switch version announcement during or anytime soon.

Crash is relaxing and exploring his island in his time, 1998, when he finds a mysterious mask hidden away in a cave, Lani-Loli. The mask is one of the Quantum Masks and apparently knows Aku-Aku, Crash's mask friend! With the Quantum Masks returning and a Quantum Rift appearing near our heroes, they decide to bravely head through to different times and dimensions to stop whoever is responsible.
