Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time Announced
Activision and Toys for Bob announces new Crash Bandicoot game titled Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time for PS4 and Xbox One.
Riding in success of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, a mainline release for iconic platform series Crash Bandicoot was reportedly in works and even got leaked though a rating board listing earlier.
Today at Summer Game Fest, developer Toys for Bob and publisher Activision has officially announced Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, currently scheduled to arrive on October 2, 2020 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

Everyone's beloved orange marsupial is back in a sequel of his original trilogy after long to spin-jumping his way to platforming on consoles. Toys for Bob revamped a lot of original character designs for latest entry of Crash Bandicoot series.
Crash Bandicoot 4 takes place after Crash Bandicoot: Warped, where Crash defeated Doctor Nefarious Tropy and Neo Cortex in order to save his girlfriend Tawna and entire world from being mind-controlled by Cortex Vortex machine.

Crash, his sister Coco and friends are to embark a journey through time to stop them again to save entire multiverse. Aside from adding new gameplay mechanics, dev team has included an ability to swap between Modern and Retro modes.
Keeping true to original franchise legacy, Toys for Bob added a bunch of new enemy types, hazards and locations. For modern gaming experience, levels are expanded than usual and made rooms for tricks like wall running and such.

Crash 4 introduces powerful guardians of space and time known as Quantum Masks that empower heroes to overcome difficult obstacles. One of these masks is from an early video advert for PlayStation from back in November 2019.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will also be available for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One family of devices like Xbox One X at launch. By purchasing Crash 4 from digital stores, you can get "Totally Tubular" skin pack as pre-order bonus.
