Serious Sam 4 Developer Gameplay Overview Trailer
Devolver Digital releases a gameplay overview trailer for Serious Sam 4 showcasing many in-game aspects.
Two years after premiering an official teaser trailer for upcoming first-person shooter title Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass, developer Croteam and publisher Devolver Digital are back from a long break to show off some more stuff.
After keeping players in anticipation for so long, Croteam has released a gameplay overview footage lately that focuses on combat system, enemies, features, updated visuals, all-new weapons and much more of Planet Badass.

In an official update, developers at Croteam discuss enemies, music, weapons and more of SS4 gameplay.

Alien overlord Mental is back again with his hordes of destruction and Sam is leading Earth Defense Force against him. Almost everything is amped up to eleven and players will be busting their way out of chaos with an arsenal of weapons.

Sam is equipped with an auto shotgun, double-barreled shotgun, a brutal minigun, powerful chainsaw launcher and his iconic cannon. Upgrades are available for these toys to then unleash gory death upon Mental's invading army.
Many iconic pawns such as Beheaded Rocketeer, Headless Kamikaze, Khnum, Kleer, Scrapjack and Werebull are back. There will be so many of them and it will be fun to blast them into oblivion with your array of devastating weapons.

You can join online co-op mode with up to four players or take greater challenges with modified difficulties. Croteam introduces a new "Legion" system that allows your screen to be swarmed by tens of thousands of enemies at a time.
Serious Sam 4 is currently buckling up to arrive on August 2020 for both Google Stadia and PC via Steam. Due to a timed exclusive deal with Google, the game will not be releasing for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles until 2021.

Following release of Serious Sam 3: BFE, it has been nearly a decade for a mainline game from Serious Sam series is released. Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope came out in 2017 and was joined by VR versions first three games on same year.
Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass was originally announced to be in works back in 2013 but then Croteam had to postpone development to work on The Talos Principle, which became a critically-acclaimed title and resumed work afterwards.
