Diablo 2 Remaster Reportedly Coming in 2020
A remastered version of second Diablo game titled Diablo II: Resurrected is reportedly coming later this year.

As for credibility of source, ActuGaming has previously reported on announcements of Diablo IV, Overwatch 2 and World of Warcraft: Shadowlands expansion shortly before they were officially revealed to public at BlizzCon 2019.
Vicarious Visions is an Activision subsidiary studio that has worked on Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and PC version of Destiny 2 earlier. Both of their works were praised for staying true to their original sources while adding improvements.

Until there is an official confirmation from Blizzard, you can't be absolutely sure of a remaster though. Maybe they are being cautious following a major debacle with Warcraft III: Reforged earlier this year to avoid another disappointment.
Diablo II: Resurrected is one of the several projects under Activision/Blizzard that is constantly drawing increased amount of fan-interest and it may end up getting released before Diablo IV given its larger scale of development level.

Though majority of Diablo series fans are currently waiting for developer/publisher Blizzard Entertainment to release upcoming action role-playing hack and slash title Diablo IV soon, old-school fans are still hoping for a Diablo II remaster.
A recent report on French gaming site ActuGaming suggests that a high-definition remake of D2 titled Diablo II: Resurrected is currently being developed by Vicarious Visions, which is currently scheduled for fourth quarter of 2020 release.
