Ubisoft is giving away Assassin's Creed Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt and Greece for free on PC to promote learning from home.
To help everyone who are stuck indoors practicing social distancing to fight an ongoing COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, developer/publisher Ubisoft has been offering some of their known titles on PC platform via Uplay for free lately.
Ubisoft is currently giving away Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt and Greece from Assassin's Creed Origins and Assassin's Creed Odyssey for free to download and own on Uplay from March 14, 11 PM to May 22, 12 AM of your local time.

Months after releasing AC Origins, a downloadable educational mode add-on was launched by Ubisoft for players who already own a copy. Later on, Discovery Tour received a standalone version for PC for interactive learning purpose.
Aside from sneaking up on enemies and murdering them using iconic Hidden Blade, Assassin's Creed franchise leaned on historical accuracy in past and taking that idea further, Ubisoft came up with Discovery mode of guided tours series.

Discovery Tour mode let you explore various significant landscapes of Egypt and Greece by ditching storyline, side-quests and other in-game restrictions to learn more about historical facts as you virtually roam around these locations.
Though exploration of your surrounding is a different experience than base game, people greatly enjoyed Discovery mode. Series fans are having their fingers crossed hoping for upcoming Assassin's Creed Valhalla featuring one too.

Ubisoft launched a brand-new initiative called "Play Your Part, Play at Home" amidst a global outbreak of Coronavirus, offering free titles like Assassin's Creed II, Child of Light and Rayman Legends to encourage people in staying home.
