World War Z: Game of the Year Edition Announced, Coming to Switch
Saber Interactive announces Game of the Year Edition for World War Z and upcoming Nintendo Switch version.
Shortly after releasing co-op zombie shooter title World War Z last year, developer Saber Interactive got busy rolling out post-launch free DLC roadmap on a regular basis for PC via Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Following recent acquisition of developer studio by Embracer Group, a Game of the Year Edition for WWZ is announced to arrive on May 5 and a Nintendo Switch version of the game is currently in works to be released later.

World War Z: Game of the Year Edition would feature bunch of new contents including new location and three missions, all previously released character skin pack and weapon packs DLCs from Season Pass aide from full base game.
Latest PvE episode will take you to French city of Marseille to fight more hordes of infected there in three new missions. Though added in GOTY Edition, Marseilles episodes will become available very soon to purchase separately.

GOTY Edition grants you access to a year worth of content since release of WWZ, including cross-play support for PC and Xbox, enemies, Horde Mode Z, PvE missions, Six Skulls difficulty setting, weekly challenge mode and more.
Later this year, a free update will add a new playable class, equipped with abilities and unique skill tree. More plans on future content development will be revealed to player community by Saber Interactive in a roadmap over time.

Saber has served as a support studio for Nintendo Switch version of The Witcher 3 earlier and are about to face an even bigger challenge of porting WWZ to Nintendo handheld, which will have swarms of enemies and players on-screen.
World War Z became one of the surprise hits of 2019 on launch and has amassed over 10 million players so far. WWZ: GOTY Edition will be priced only $49.99 for all available platforms and a Switch port release date is yet to be revealed.
