Star Wars: Project Maverick Leaked on PlayStation Network
A recent leak on PlayStation Network has revealed an unannounced new title Star Wars: Project Maverick.
It goes without saying that 2019 action-adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has performed way better than expected upon launch and developer Respawn Entertainment has reportedly started working on a sequel already.
A recent leak at PlayStation Network has found an image for new PlayStation 4 game that was titled Star Wars: Project Maverick, which is yet to be confirmed by publisher Electronic Arts and has been removed from PSN shortly afterwards.

It shows an Imperial Star Destroyer accompanied by a group of X-Wing fighters flying over a planet engulfed by lava, which looks a lot like Mustafar and implies to a setting from original Star Wars trilogy era for the project.
Mustafar was first shown in Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith and became a sanctuary for Darth Vader. Various animated series, comics, novels and Star Wars films have frequently featured this volcanic planet.

Electronic Arts has lost fans over cancelling promising titles and greedy micro-transactions in past years but Jedi: Fallen Order has helped them to win back some trust and they are focusing on games like Star Wars: Project Maverick now.
Maverick is not likely to be a rumored sequel of Fallen Order and maybe a side project that was being under wraps until now. Could it also be a possible sequel to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II that has concluded with a cliffhanger ending?
