Spellbreak Closed Beta Live Now
Proletariat invites players in Closed Beta program for fantasy battle royale game Spellbreak on PC and PS4.
With a planned spring 2020 release window in mind, developer/publisher Proletariat has been working on a closed beta of upcoming fantasy battle royale role-playing game Spellbreak for PC via Epic Games Store and PlayStation 4 platforms.
It was revealed during PlayStation State of Play in December 2019 that a closed beta will be available in early 2020 and finally, you can join in beta program on Windows PC or PS4 by owning a Founder Pack to support its development.

To enter into an epic spell-casting action, players should pick a distinct class to fight others in a quest to become a great battle mage. Each class has their own distinct playstyle and skill sets that you can master by playing and leveling up.
Playing as a Conduit will allow one to conjure up lightning bolts and summon storms to shock attack rival players. Frostborn acts as fast-moving sniper class that creates icy paths for traversing and can assault with ice lance spell.

An expert in fire magic, a Pyromancer is well equipped for mid-range combat that uses Fireball spell from afar. Stoneshaper mage class is suited for mid-range brawling and throwing giant boulders across a map to attack or defend.
Tempest is a windrunner that flies high above battlefield and can rain fury from above by creating tornadoes. For stealth-based playstyle, Toxicologist is better suited as they create toxic clouds to trap anyone nearby for maximum damage.

As you play through, each of those skills can be upgraded to match various playstyle while a match is ongoing. Everyone will begin as a powerful spell user at start of each match and can eventually become a master mage when it ends.
Spellbreak classes are designed for fast-paced magical battle and are customizable with runes, sorceries, spells, talents and more. It goes live today with cross-play support, matchmaking, talents system and other anticipated features.
