Resident Evil 3 Remake Demo Throws Shade at Resident Evil 6
Through an Easter Egg within recently released Resident Evil 3 Remake demo, Capcom is taking shot at Resident Evil 6.
Fans of survival horror game series Resident Evil are currently busy playing as former S.T.A.R.S. officer Jill Valentine in newly released Raccoon City demo of Resident Evil 3 Remake and trying to find their way out of a zombie-infested town.
Although recently released RE3 demo only contains an early section of the game, there are many Easter Eggs for prying eyes and one of them seems to be mocking Resident Evil 6, one of the most divisive releases of entire RE franchise.

Raccoon City demo is full of connections to past titles and important details regarding T-virus outbreak. Wandering across streets and underground subway, you can see a many posters out there and one of them even features RE3 key art.
Players can notice one particular in-game poster for a fictional movie titled "Disaster" at one point that is a parody of RE6 box art. It may seem like a coincidence but developer/publisher Capcom is clearly a referencing to their failed 2012 game.

Though Resident Evil 6 has sold over 9.2 million copies and is the third best-selling Capcom game, it received lowest scores for any RE games. Moreover, RE6 moved over from horror genre and almost became an action experience.
Despite having nearly 600 people working on it, players have heavily criticized it for gameplay, story, and overall pacing problem. Critics have generally hated it for those same reasons as well and therefore, technically it was a disaster.

Resident Evil 3 Remake is scheduled to arrive on April 3, 2020 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. On release, there will presumably more Easter Eggs to discover and hopefully one of them ends up teasing a Dino Crisis remake.
