Floyd is an original protagonist character making his debut as a heavy hitting fighter with cybernetic arms. His mechanical arms are a gift from Streets of Rage 3 cyborg scientist character Dr. Gilbert Zan, which is his tie to SoR series.
Though his movements and health recovery period is slower than others, he has the longest reach among all five. Aside from shocking, smashing and throwing bad guys, his arm cannon can deal serious damage with a powerful blast.

Floyd Iraia can simply grab enemies from a considerable distance directly by extending one of his arms or in between fighting to throw around. He can even grab two nearby goons and then smash them together for maximum impact.
SoR4 will allow players to team-up with only one person for online play feature right from launch day. For first time in entire Streets of Rage franchise history, local co-operative mode will support up to four-players to party up.

Joining as a composer is Yoko Shimomura, who previously wrote music for Final Fight and Street Fighter II: The World Warrior. Original series composers Motohiro Kawashima and Yuzo Koshiro would join her to do '90s-themed soundtrack.
Streets of Rage 4 to arrive on spring 2020 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Though an official release date yet to be revealed by DotEmu, players can likely to expect hearing an announcement sooner than later.
