Jill Valentine, a former officer of S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team stumbles onto Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service member Carlos Oliveira amidst chaos and gets seriously annoyed knowing that he works for but he begs to differ.
Trying to escape a zombie-infested Raccoon City with a relentless pursuer on your back can be pretty intense even for a badass like Jill. So, she tags along with him anyway when he mentions of having secured a subway car for shelter.

Heading over to streets, she comes across hordes of zombies pouring in from all around and coming after her before rendezvoused with Carlos. U.B.C.S. members Nikolai Zinoviev and Tyrell Patrick join in shortly with reports of outside.
Nikolai strongly disapproves of Jill hanging around and warns Carlos that she will get him killed as she is unreliable. Right at that moment, Nemesis shows up there looking for her and she immediately decides to confront him on her own.

More of classic banter between Carlos and Jill will continue whenever they talked while trying to find an escape from city. Later, he takes her to the cable car they readied up and is introduced to their Captain Mikhail Victor.
Few of her encounters with zombies on alleyway or in road seems to suggest that she won't have a combat knife as a secondary weapon like Resident Evil 2 Remake but Capcom has added and heavily improved her dodge move feature.

Walking into what seems like Umbrella's Incineration Disposal Plant, she is ambushed by Brain Sucker, Drain Deimos and other creepy creatures. Environmental destruction is confirmed by her shooting at barrels to explode and take down enemies.
Trying to find a way out, Jill eventually reaches to Raccoon City sewer section and unfortunately ran into a monstrous Hunter Gamma enemy that wastes no time in extending four huge mandibles like a Grave Digger to devour its prey.

Nemesis throws some powerful punches like his predecessor and he would even take giant leaps over you to tackle from front. Often times, he will just grab you with his tentacles to drag you near and then just stand there menacingly.
Even when his target is far from his arms reach, Nemesis would casually fire up his mounted flamethrower and sweep fire around. Despite his growing reign of rampage, some direct shots at its fuel tank will slow him down for a bit.

Many players who initially played RE2 Remake when it came out and found its Tyrant enemy Mr. X to be a pain in butt are about to find out what true menace is when Nemesis will come after them where you least expect him.
Also, those who complained about Capcom reusing Mr. X character model for Nemesis upon reading a dev interview on official PlayStation Magazine UK earlier can clearly see how his improved AI has made him far more formidable.

With help of revolutionary RE Engine of Capcom, Raccoon City comes to life in impressive details of photo-realistic visuals. There are much more open spaces to explore into than that of original Resident Evil 3 in modern reimagining.
Capcom has promised a demo for Resident Evil 3 Remake to roll out, which is likely to come out a few weeks ahead of launch and players will have a hands-on experience of stepping into madness spread by evil Umbrella Corporation.
