Capcom has shared Resident Evil 3 Remake early concept arts of Nemesis, teasing his mysterious origin.
Riding steep success of Resident Evil 2 Remake from last year, developer/publisher Capcom will be releasing its follow-up survival horror sequel game Resident Evil 3 Remake on April 3, 2020 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Although Capcom has yet to reveal a gameplay trailer ahead of its launch, they have shared a bunch of concept art from recent reimagining of RE3 on social media that offers a brief look at origin of a deadly antagonist in Resident Evil series.

One of these images showcases a few board officials observing a bloodied experiment room of Umbrella facility, which is likely to be after they planted NE-α Type parasite into host body and it went on a rampage to kill everyone around him.
Next panel shows struggles of unknown Nemesis host to bond with its parasitic organism in an empty warehouse like area, spilling blood on floor. After that, Umbrella managed to bring him back to operating table and continues experiment.

It shows that researchers working on him are keeping stats on him and one of them is carrying a firearm, not like it will help though. Nemesis is probably sedated in this scene and it resembles to a scene from RE3 Remake announce trailer.
In final board, protagonist Jill Valentine is seen standing oppose to her menacing pursuer on a Raccoon City backdrop that is engulfed fire. This scene shows the iconic Tyrant monster in his full uniform and gear with its tentacle hanging out.

These newly revealed arts give fans a pretty decent idea of what dev team was trying to achieve from start and adding little details like how his name is taken from Greek goddess of vengeance makes his creation much more meaningful.
Capcom has apparently used model of Mr. X from RE2 to design Nemesis for Resident Evil 3 Remake but made him much more formidable adversary with improved AI and weaponry like mounted flamethrower and a rocket launcher.
