In a recent report, developer/publisher Ubisoft has confirmed working on five AAA-games right now including Gods and Monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine and Watch Dogs: Legion that they will launch from April 2020 and March 2021.
Although dev team has refrained from revealing the other two games, they stated that those two games are from their "biggest franchises". One of them seems to be rumored Assassin's Creed Ragnarok and another one is Far Cry 6.

Known to be one of the most reliable sources among industry, Jason Schreier of Kotaku broke this news lately. Although he didn't go into details of upcoming Far Cry game but claims that Ubisoft will release it before March 2021.
Twitter user Shinobi602 originally shared this news from earnings call meeting where Schreier added more details. If his leaks are correct then players can expect an official reveal at E3 2020 press event as well as new Assassin's Creed game.

Last year, there was a rumor of a multiplayer-focused Far Cry game being in development under Ubisoft Berlin. It is possible for that previous report to be actually true and Schreier is simply referring to that game if not FC6.
Some other sources claimed that next mainline Far Cry game is in-works at two different studios, Ubisoft Toronto and Ubisoft Refelctions. Any of this info is not confirmed yet and there is no official information on next Far Cry game.

Though some are speculating for a Splinter Cell game instead if FC6 alongside new AC title, Schreier has a reputation of not being wrong so often and there is no reason for him to making such claims if they were not from trusted sources.
Series fans would love to see where Ubisoft is heading over to for next installment of their first-person shooter game series in Far Cry 6. May be they would choose an open-world location set around some uncharted islands once again!

Anyone holding out hope for Splinter Cell is, once again, going to be disappointed. Sorry! (It’s AC and Far Cry.) https://t.co/7hKDV3y5QS— Jason Schreier (@jasonschreier) February 6, 2020
