To celebrate launch of their latest content, Motion Twin has revealed a quirky new animated short today.

The Bad Seed expansion introduces a two-handed weapon called Scythe to tear through anything on your way. New enemies include blowgunners, carnivorous plants, jerkshrooms, mushroom men, ticks and yeeters on new biomes.
You would start off from Arboretum, which is a greenhouse location full of mushrooms and other plants. Many of these vegetations would like to get a piece of The Prisoner but he can always use them for quick vertical movement.

There is a little friend lurking around that would befriend you and then attack anyone who comes closer to you. Then head over to Morass of the Banished, which is a swamp area filled with danger and pointy things to hurt you badly.
Surviving its perilous surroundings and unsuspecting ambushes from group of hostile locals will take you to The Nest where you will finally have a major boss fight against Mama Tick, a massive mutant creature with many eyes and claws.

Bad Seed DLC is priced $4.99 only and is released in an attempt to support dev team's effort in continuous free updates. Evil Empire is already working hard on lining up more content and major gameplay overhauls for near future.
Dead Cells is currently available on sale for both Steam and Xbox One platform at 30% discount. A collection bundle of main game and recent DLC pack is also out offering 10% off on PC version and 20% for console players right now.

As part of post-launch support, a new DLC expansion for 2018 roguelike metroidvania title Dead Cells was announced by indie studios Evil Empire and Motion Twin last year, which is out now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
All newcomer and veteran players can to try out this first-ever paid DLC titled Dead Cells: The Bad Seed in same difficulty level of original base game featuring two new early levels, a boss character, companion, new enemies and weapons.
