World War Z: Horde Mode Z Update Live Now
Horde Mode Z update for World War Z is live now with newly added game mode, special zombie and weapon skins.
Upon reaching nearly 2 million players in just a month after launch, developer Saber Interactive and publisher Mad Dog Games decided to add more content in post-launch period for their co-op zombie shooter title World War Z.
Nearing end of Q4 2019, second installment of Season 2 content update has gone live today on PC via Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One including a brand-new infected type and most-requested Horde Mode feature.

Halfway through second season, Horde Mode Z has debuted to put players against thousands of undeads pouring in from everywhere. Each wave is more difficult than the one you have just cleared and there are side objectives to take care of.
In between matches, it would be wise to look for resources and get your defenses up to be ready for next wave. Explore within maps to find out hidden military crates that will offer bonus rewards that you can even spend on upgrades.

Among available six classes, The Exterminator is well fitted at killing swarms but may be weak against special zombies. Players can switch and swap between other classes to experiment what works for them in Horde Mode Z.
Latest update will introduce a menacing new undead type known as The Bomber and it does exactly what its namesake suggests. You would better off not pushing your luck with this one and take him down from far to avoid explosion.

Moreover, purchasing Special Operations Forces skin pack DLC will let you slay hordes in style. When final part of Season 2 update of WWZ will arrive on Q1 2020, cross-play support will finally let everyone play together over all platforms.
World War Z definitely stands out from other zombie shooters but its massive swarms are what make it a unique experience. Saber Interactive is currently working on a new Episode consists of three missions in a new location for near future.
