Resident Evil 3 Release Date and Collector's Edition Announced
Capcom officially announces Resident Evil 3 Remake for 2020 at PlayStation's most recent State of Play episode.
After recent leak from PlayStation Network listing, a remake of 1999 survival horror classic title Resident Evil 3: Nemesis by developer/publisher Capcom was almost inevitable and it turns out, all these rumors were actually true.
In latest and final episode of PlayStation's State of Play livestream for this year, Capcom officially confirmed that Resident Evil 3 Remake coming on April 3, 2020 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.

Fan-favorite RE character Jill Valentine returns in a newly reimagined trailer for upcoming RE3 Remake.

In a complete reimagining of Resident Evil 3, the trailer goes back to Raccoon City once again right before the events of Resident Evil 2, to explore former S.T.A.R.S. member and original series protagonist Jill Valentine trying to make an escape.
During her getaway attempts, she is met by surviving mercenaries Carlos Oliveira, Mikhail Victor and Nikolai Zinoviev. Carlos becomes an ally to her while she is constantly being pursued by a super-powered Tyrant named Nemesis.

After her reports on Umbrella Corporation and Arklay Mansion incident, all investigation has been completely overlooked and Jill gets suspended. Even though willing to expose all lies, she has to get out first from the city of living dead.
Those who played recent remake version of Resident Evil 2 and was haunted by a menacing Mr. X will meet his new successor in RE3 Remake. Nemesis is a persistent bio-weapon who does a lot more than slamming doors or ramming through walls.

Upon finishing single-player campaign, you can dive into team-based multiplayer game Resident Evil: Resistance for an asymmetrical 4v1 online experience that is included with Resident Evil 3 and is also set in Raccoon City.
Revealed earlier as Project Resistance, players will work together to escape from clutches of a single mastermind. Two new kidnapped survivors Becca and Martin, new mastermind Annette Birkin and monster William Birkin are added to current roster.

Resident Evil 3 Collector's Edition will come along with a physical copy of the base game, art book, digital soundtracks, Jill Valentine figurine and map of Raccoon City, exclusively offered at GameStop for players in North American region.
On any pre-order of Standard or Collector's Edition of RE3Make, players would receive a Classic Costume Pack that features original outfit and hairstyle for both Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira, just to let you get back into that 90's vibe.

RE3 would take back players to some familiar locations from RE2 in high-definition visuals and over the shoulder third-person perspective that are all brought back to life for a unique dodge mechanic using the ground-breaking RE Engine.
