Explore the island of Himfjäll in latest Generation Zero: Alpine Unrest expansion, out now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Based on a machine invasion on alternate-reality Sweden, Generation Zero is an open-world online survival game from developer/publisher Avalanche Studios, which came out on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in May 2019.
Dev team of Avalanche has been working for months to release their first expansion for the game, Alpine Unrest and it is finally out now on all major platforms offering players achievements, clothes, collectibles and weapons.

Continuing story of Generation Zero, Alpine Unrest takes players to island of Himfjäll that is comprised of a few locations like cafés, caravan parking lots, military bases, shops, ski slopes, burning church and ski hotel Björntunet.
Once a popular ski destination has now become a ghost town but there are answers to find that you were probably seeking for long time. Aside from new missions, this island will introduce players to new band of survivors as well.

Apocalypse Class makes its debuts as new enemy class that is deadlier than ever, using flamethrowers and biochemical guns at you. Almost every killer robot types you have faced so far, this group is seems to be the nastiest.
You will be handed out enough firepower in form of KVM 59 machine gun and KVM 89 squad automatic weapon to fight back. Despite having these powerful tools in your arsenal, it would be wise to take on these mean machines with caution.

Some may come across those deadly enemies in mainland of Östertörn and before you can get your hands on latest weapons, you have to defeat a few of them first but no challenge will make you struggle without some rewards.
A host of bug fixes just came in for animations, challenges, missions, UI and weapons marked as issues by player community. Instance of crashes along with audio, localization and voice over are resolved as part of regular game updates.

Even though enemies are on constant lookout, you can still make it out of hotel hideout and perhaps take assistance from local community. It is time to meet more of fellow survivors and stand together against a mechanical uprising.
