Death Stranding Will Have Very Easy Mode
Hideo Kojima reveals to have added a "Very Easy Mode" in Death Stranding for movie fans to enjoy without too much challenge.
Only months to go before upcoming action game Death Stranding from developer Kojima Productions and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment is released for PlayStation 4 but fans are still excited to find out new things about it.
Recently, game director Hideo Kojima revealed on social media that his game will feature a "Very Easy Mode" that is only for "movie fans", who don't really play games in general but will be able to get in and eventually finish it entirely.

Since they have added real-life renowned actors like Mads Mikkelsen (Doctor Strange, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Norman Reedus (The Boondock Saints, The Walking Dead), it may drive interest of movie fans to this game.
So, Kojima wanted to add a Very Easy Mode especially for that specific audience group so that they can complete the game. To start, he let his personal assistant Ayako Terashima to complete it as a test, who is not much into video games.

Kojima retweeted her status after she has taken Twitter to express her experience and went for more details.

He explained his reasons for adding a Very Easy Mode for Death Stranding by pointing out that Terashima has never even completed the first level of Pac-Man, just like many casual players who tries out some games every now and then.
Being an avid fan of movies, he realized that people may want to delve deep inside the mysterious world of this game even though they are not very familiar with gameplay or concepts and just wanted to make appeal to them.

Earlier this year, many casual gamers and so-called critics were desperately crying for an Easy Mode for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice by developer From Software, debating about accessibility in video games through extreme difficulty levels.
Although that very point was debunked by a quadriplegic player showed how there is no need for difficulty settings. Though it took some efforts on his part but he eventually managed to defeat notorious boss Corrupted Monk like a true champ.

Kojima himself was opposed to that idea of difficulty levels as well and even let players become undetectable to enemies in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for wearing a silly chicken hat, which would let them play on easier settings.
He probably had a change of heart for adding a Very Easy Mode and movie-goer people who would be able to immerse into Death Stranding experience just because of that will surely appreciate him considering an easier difficulty.
