Code Vein Demo for Consoles Out Now
Bandai Namco welcomes you to play newly improved Code Vein demo, out now on PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
Earlier in May 2019, developer/publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment ran a network test for their upcoming action role-playing game Code Vein, which is scheduled to release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 27, 2019.
Those who participated back then have helped development team with their valuable feedback and after working on several areas of adjustments; a brand-new improved version of that demo is now out on PS4 and Xbox One platforms.

One of primary concern pointed out by players are character movement and then transition to player action response has smoothed out. These changes are focused on combo and evading but none of them will affect your core gameplay.
Enemy attacks are improved in terms of animation and their SFX timing in general with more reactions added for them now. In trial edition, they will give a flinch reaction whenever they are hit with a heavy attack or knockdown.

However, small damage will bring slight flinch reaction from them without their attack flow being interrupted in case of retail version. Newly reworked enemy reactions will now feel better than before in each dealt attack.
Developers tried better defining your status doing exploration or fighting and some UI adjustments were made. Players will get a better in-game perspective and sense of distance due to recent adjustment in camera behavior.

Finally, create your own anime-inspired Revenant character as you see fit and go crazy with your imagination in doing that, because you can carry them over to main game using customized character export feature when it is out.
Bandai Namco has announced to release an update for Code Vein demo very soon that will add multiplayer mode and "Town of Sacrifice" stage. A release date for the patch is not revealed yet even though there are only a few weeks left for its launch.
