Brand-new games like Dead Rising 4, Middle-earth: Shadow of War and more comes to Xbox Game Pass in beginning of July.
Just as we entered Independence Day week, monthly subscribers of Xbox Game Pass are getting showered with eight new exciting upcoming titles coming their way over PC platform and Xbox consoles in month of July.

If you are fan of 90's era of arcade shooter then, Blazing Chrome from indie developer Joy Masher could be exactly what you are looking for. The game features classic run 'n' gun type action for local co-op rendered in 16-bit style graphics.
This is a hybrid version of Contra that excels in every aspects of the beloved original and comes anew where you either play as robotic protagonist Doyle or human soldier Mavra to oppose an insurgency by machine overlords to save humanity.

Celebrity freelance journalist Frank West comes back to Willamette, Colorado once again for another unexpected zombie hunting season. This time, he is after an even bigger conspiracy than what he faced during first outbreak, years ago.
Gameplay has changed by getting rid of timer system and improved action for a far better experience. Even if you are a casual who is not caught up with early history of Dead Rising, you can still jump right in for some undead slaying.

Sharing a body with elf lord Celebrimbor, he can lead his Ologs and Uruks followers from Middle-earth using revolutionary gameplay mechanics known as "Nemesis System" and aims at going bigger than its predecessor in overall.

My Time at Portia | Console, PC, Ultimate
An action RPG title from Chinese developer studio Pathea Games that is set on a post-apocalyptic dystopia but primarily based on exploring and keep building on your town is what sums up base concept of My Time at Portia at best.
Building and crafting items would require you to gather resources or even have to process them to fit your need. Aside from making establishments through and through, you get relationship points for interacting with fellow NPCs.

Although this retro-styled action platformer from Lunar Ray Games didn't shy away to take clear inspiration from Castlevania series and set up premises around a castle, it still has a story of its own with unique twists delivered in pixel arts.
Lead character Lunais is a time messenger and she goes back in time on behalf of her cult using a device called Timespinner to stop advances of Lachiem Empire but in doing so, she can never return to her own timeline and forced to have a life anew.

Step into a dark, supernatural thriller by indie developer/publisher Wadjet Eye Games where you are allowed to pursue one of three narratives and a companion with distinct abilities to embark a classic point-and-click adventure.
Being freed from a demonic possession after going into a killing spree through New York for a year, player would wake up among a group of strangers that belongs to an order of demon-hunters only to join them and pieces together.

In an Underground realm full of magic and monsters, a child gets lost and is saved by goat-like creature named Toriel from a sentient flower, Flowey. There, the kid learns about killing monsters to gain EXP and solve puzzles for survival.
You can always opt out from killing enemies that crosses your path and go for subduing them instead whenever they attacks, which will not only change character interaction and dialogue pattern but it would alter endgame narrative as well.
