Man of Medan Multiplayer Modes Revealed
Take turns in Man of Medan multiplayer modes; Shared Story and Movie Night to experience a new level of narrative twist.
After seeing unforeseen success with interactive drama horror game Until Dawn, developer Supermassive Games is returning with their newest project Man of Medan, which will be a part of their The Dark Pictures Anthology series.
Recently, two new multiplayer modes; Shared Story mode and Movie Night mode for the standalone cinematic horror experience is revealed that would lead players to different narrative or unfortunate ends via multiple playthroughs.

You can engage in a two-player online play in Shared Story mode where each of you controls a different in-game character but whatever choices you end up making, it will eventually affect you both and that is an intense ride for sure.
Both of your characters can appear on screen at the same time and even explore same area or engage in a conversation. Though you can have your plans ready but they will probably become useless by wave of consequence for your choices.

However, there are times when such unexpected situation can work on your favor and often times it may not. You and your partner may come up with a bright idea but it may actually cause trouble or a foolish mistake may aid you at a later point.
Things will go a bit different in Movie Night mode that is more like a local co-op gameplay consisting five people. Each player can select their character and then pass on control whenever the game focuses on that character.

At times, the game will let you know how each of you is doing so far to stay alive and it is a collaborative way of enjoying the narrative together, which quickly shifts in so many dramatic ways that you would often forget what to make of them.
Everyone among your group may have a better idea on their head but whether or not they would work is something you won't know only until you implement them in action and it opens up door for so many outcomes no one ever thought of.

Aspects that worked well for Until Dawn are improved to provide better feel of suspense with new level of tensions in a horror journey. Players would be able to relate to involved characters more because of impactful choices they will make.
