It all begins at A-Day, when globally known superhero team of Avengers showed up in San Francisco to unveil their new hi-tech Headquarters. A sudden explosion nearby has Captain America send Iron Man and Thor to investigate.
Black Widow and Hulk joined soon into that mess what seemed like an act of terrorism by a private military force. A staged catastrophe causes huge devastation and these heroes were blamed, which led to disbandment of The Avengers.
