Final Fantasy 8 Remastered Announced
Square Enix announced Final Fantasy VIII Remastered for Steam, Switch, PS4 and Xbox to arrive later this year.
Back in September 2018, developer/publisher Square Enix announced "Final Fantasy Legacy Collection" that featured fan-favorite RPG titles from Final Fantasy series, scheduled to launch on current-gen platforms through 2018 to 2019.
Final Fantasy VIII was somehow left behind from being included to that list in between seventh and ninth installment. However, a remastered version of this PlayStation original is announced recently during E3 2019 press conference.
