Techland debuts new trailer for Dying Light 2 at E3 2019 Xbox press briefing and it will be out in spring 2020.
After officially announcing upcoming survival horror game Dying Light 2 last year at E3 2018, Polish developer studio Techland has remained quiet for a year-long period but returned this year at Xbox E3 briefing with a brand-new trailer.
This heavily anticipated sequel to 2015 original Dying Light makes a comeback with a new protagonist and same old open-world gameplay of running amok throughout a city that has been ravaged by a deadly virus.

Introducing Aiden Caldwell, a survivor who is infected yet alive in a post-apocalyptic world where everyone is fighting over resources and territory. After a global pandemic took over 15 years ago, society has fallen and on a brink of extinction.
Authorities have failed to reestablish control and order, which has led to new fractions to rise up climbing ladder of power. Because of his incredible parkour skills, Aiden is considered as an asset and a light of hope among people around him.

Aside from first-person parkour chasing and weapons-based combat, day-night cycle mechanics are back as well. Throughout entire narrative, Aiden will have to make some hard choices that have consequences and will shape up how the game ends.
Since player decisions can affect your objective at hand, there will be more than one ways to finish the game and have different endings. The City has a total of seven regions and multiple factions, allying with which has its own pros and cons.

Stamina is an important aspect of gameplay as activities like climbing, running or fighting back zombies would quickly reduce it. Melee combat system has become more brutal and there is always a way out of any situation if you are willing to improvise.
In association with publisher Square Enix, Dying Light 2 will be out on spring 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Featuring both single-player and co-op mode, you will be dealing with a lot of conflict from humans and zombies.
