Baldur's Gate 3 Announced
Larian Studios officially announces Baldur's Gate III with a brand-new trailer at Google Stadia Connect live-stream.
Only a week ago, Belgian developer Larian Studios started teasing an upcoming project to their official website with an "III" logo and soon some metadata from a video file eventually clarified that Baldur's Gate III is in works right now.
After having their critically acclaimed run on fantasy RPG series Divinity: Original Sin, the studio has teamed up with publisher Wizards of the Coast for their next adventure set into Baldur's Gate universe and unleashed it right before E3 2019.

Below is an official teaser trailer that heralds a nightmarish threat that would consume all of Forgotten Realms.

A lone, weary knight belonging to a group named Flaming Fist comes to a corner of a now-ravaged town. He then quickly draws his sword in anticipation of an unknown enemy approaching from behind but there was no one.
Suddenly, he starts puking blood with his teeth falling out and he goes through a vicious ceremorphosis process of horrible physical change, where he is slowly transformed into a Cthulhu-like psionic being called Mind Flayer.

Apparently, there are no more plot details other than these creatures are invading and players would experience an immersive journey into the realm of Faerun with their friends or can sign up for a single-player adventure if they wish.
Baldur's Gate franchise released two mainline games along with a few expansion packs and the last entry in series was Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn from 2001, which really had its fan community waiting for near two decades for another sequel.

Most recently, classic D&D games from PC are announced for a much anticipated remaster for modern day console launch on fall 2019 and this is definitely a great chance for newcomers as well as seasoned fans to catch up once again.
No official release date for Baldur's Gate III is revealed yet but it is currently being developed for PC and Google Stadia platform, where it is going to be a launch title alongside titles like Darksiders: Genesis and Destiny 2.
