Crytek has built up a dark setting for competitive online multiplayer gameplay of up to 10 players. Bounty hunters will be going after and slaying monstrous creatures lurking within Louisiana swamps only to be rewarded in gold.

Only one can come out victorious (or two in case of teams) by surviving all odds chasing your tail to get a piece. Then rise up stakes of PvP experience by getting into Quick Play mode to compete in a 10 solo players face off with a clock ticking.
There is a huge emphasis on audio as not only it warns you in advance of enemies and bosses arrival but also gives away location of other players. However, death of your character is unfortunately permanent in each type of matches.

Despite Microsoft promising of the game being Xbox One X enhanced back at E3 2018, it still doesn't have that feature yet. Given its work in progress nature, it could probably be in development to be added later at some point.
So far, Crytek has been following a community-driven development process for their first-person horror shooter Hunt: Showdown and Xbox Game Preview program will surely help them get more feedback to further polish the game over time.
