Players get to own PC version of 2014 action role-playing title Transistor from today by adding it to their Epic Games library for free before May 2, 7:59 PM PT/10:59 PM EST to make sure it belongs theirs to play whenever they wishes to.

You play as nightclub singer Red, who came under attack by a group named Camerata and they tried to kill her with a sword-like weapon called Transistor that ended up impaling another man instead, sucking his consciousness and both of their voice into it.
Members of Camerata continue their assault on her using a robotic force known as the Process and she is on a run from the district of cyberpunk city of Cloudbank while repelling robotic drones by wielding the mysterious weapon.

Transistor comes from developer/publisher Supergiant Games who previously delivered acclaimed fan-favorite titles like Bastion and Pyre. They also have an upcoming roguelike action role-playing Early Access game Hades on Epic Games.
