Battlefield V Battle Royale Firestorm Footage Leaked
Scheduled to come in spring 2019, video of battle royale mode "Firestorm" for Battlefield V has been leaked online.
Ever since first-person shooter title Battlefield V from developer EA DICE and publisher Electronic Arts is launched on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last year, it has been in series of troubles but players are still waiting for some of its post-launch content.
After waiting for months, fans are finally getting an early look at the game's battle royale mode, Firestorm through a leaked tutorial video slightly ahead of an official reveal, which was set to arrive at some point on March 2019.

Below is the actual leaked footage of "Firestorm" Battle Royale mode of Battlefield 5 that has found its way online, offering an early glimpse.

Though many already knows that Firestorm is designed as a last-man-standing shooter on World War II premise where 64 player will try to hunt each other down for the ultimate glory but there will be twist on traditional Battle Royale fashion.
According to the leaked BV clip, you can jump into the middle of action after picking from Solo, Duo and Squads options. Scavenging for items and weapons will begin as soon as people are dropped on the open-world map in parachute.

Depending on where you chose to land, availability of loot would vary from their quantity and type. As landing spots, urban areas will reward players with more gear but would also present great challenges as everyone else would be after them.
Throughout the map, you will come across objectives and safes that will lead you to combat vehicles, rare items and reinforcements. These are the tools with advantages that one needs to change the course of fight and secure victory in the end.

Weapon categories are divided into three different tiers; Common, Rare and Epic, all requiring unique ammo and not much of them can be carried. So, inventory management skill would come in handy or you can share loot with your teammates until you find a backpack to extend slots.
Class specific perks are not a part of Firestorm battle royale mode as you and your squad is fighting for life. Downed players can still use their sidearm while being revived by some allies but it would only work as long as you don't bleed out completely.

In overall comparison, B5 apparently made many improvements to the genre that would hopefully get enough traction and responding to the original Reddit leak, EA took Twitter to state that there are more to come than what we just saw here. Can't wait to find that out!
Although there are no respawning like Apex Legends and no 100-player support like we have in Fortnite or Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, Battlefield V is adding their own unique takes to make Battle Royale mode great again.
