Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers Expansion Announced
FFXIV Fan Festival reveals new teaser of upcoming Shadowbringers expansion pack for Final Fantasy XIV.
Back in August, massively multiplayer online role-playing game Final Fantasy XIV from the popular Final Fantasy franchise made a crossover with action role-playing game Monster Hunter: World from Capcom in a collaboration event.
Today, in the festive mode of FFXIV Fan Fest in Las Vegas, developer/publisher Square Enix took the stage for director/producer Naoki Yoshida to announce the upcoming third expansion pack, Shadowbringers for the popular MMORPG.

We invite you to witness this brand-new, action-packed teaser trailer heralding the darkness that will arrive in early summer 2019 with Shadowbringers.

The teaser revolves around the battle-worn protagonist having flashbacks of past events and battles where he drew his Gunblade against monstrous creatures. Questions regarding the Warrior of Light and Warrior of Darkness still remain unanswered for a later time.
For those who want to re-experience the story of FFXIV all over again will not have to make a new character to do that. A new game plus option will let you revisit main quests and job quests once again to relive the fantastic plot of the game.

The expansion seems promising enough for fans to enjoy long after the release of Stormblood now. Like any other previous update, version 5.0 is about to bring an extensive story, new level cap raise from 70 to 80 and several new jobs.
Players are now free to fight back the evil Garlean Empire as Ala Mhigo and Doma are rescued in Stormblood expansion. Of course there will be new areas to discover, new beast tribes, dungeons and much more.

The Blue Mage job has been a part of the fantasy universe since Final Fantasy V and FFXIV is not going any further from the tradition of the series. However, this will be a limited job that comes with update 4.5, which is long before the release of the expansion.
Instead of learning through level progression, players will learn job actions from monsters through combat. Blue Mage will begin from a level cap of 50 and the release of Shadowbringers will increase the number with new patches.

This job is unique and unlike the other jobs that isn't linked to any class from the game. You might also want to take a look at the reveal, so here it is.

An unknown new playable race has been announced without giving any details but given the dramatic camera zoom focus on Yoshida's t-shirt with a photo of Bugs Bunny on a motorcycle; we believe they are teasing the Viera race of humanoid rabbits from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance to include.
Finally, the game allows you to travel to your friend even if they are playing on a different server. From main cities like Ul’dah, New Gridania and Limsa Lominsa, you can teleport to other worlds. More details on Shadowbringers expansion will follow when they are out.
