Diablo 3 Comes to Nintendo Switch
According to a Forbes leak, Diablo III is coming to Switch in 2018 with Nintendo exclusive in-game content.
Looks like those rumors of developer/publisher Blizzard Entertainment teasing of a possible Diablo III release for Nintendo Switch several months ahead are actually true. Remember, back in March when they posted a cryptic video of a Diablo-shaped nightlight shown switched on and off in a Tweet? Well, that probably isn't a rumor anymore and apparently confirmed according to a post from Nintendo Switch Subreddit, which has screenshots taken of the original source of this exciting news.

This morning, Forbes published an article titled "Diablo III Is Coming To The Nintendo Switch In 2018 With Exclusive Content", confirming the existence of an anticipating Switch port for the acclaimed action-RPG game but then they took the article down only minutes later. However, thanks to the Reddit post, we have snapshots of that editorial taken as proof. It also stated that we can expect them to release the game sometime later on this year, probably during Blizzcon in November.

Another report from ResetEra reveals that, the Switch version will be called the "Eternal Collection", pricing $59.99 only and will come along with Reaper of Souls expansion pack as well as Necromancer character class. This port allows up to four players to take part by linking up their devices through a Wi-Fi connection. As for the exclusive content they mentioned of, a unique cosmetic armor set Barbarian Ganondorf, a Chicken pet and Echoes of the Mask wings will be added.

Last week, Blizzard did release a video on future of Diablo series and it isn't much surprising at this point to have the game on Nintendo's next generation console. Since they have multiple projects at work, they may have enough to show at the end of the year and if we are lucky, we can get a glimpse of Diablo III on handheld Switch console at next week's Gamescom 2018. Also, a possible announcement of upcoming Diablo IV cannot be ruled out just yet either and that would be epic.
