Battlefield V – Devastation of Rotterdam – Gamescom Trailer
Ahead of Gamescom 2018, EA Dice releases another official trailer for Battlefield V and took the conflict to Rotterdam city.
Eager fans of first-person shooter game franchise Battlefield gets to see some brand-new footage from Battlefield V as developer EA DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are offering peak at some of the game's previously mentioned features in spirit of Gamescom 2018. Being the sixth title from the acclaimed series, BFV has not only created expectation and hype but the creators are confident about it changing everything and we are about to witness glimpse of it firsthand now.

An official trailer titled "Devastation of Rotterdam" showcases how BF5 captures the intensity of World War II and how it will play out.

The trailer opens up to the destructive rampage of war on Rotterdam city and how each party is fighting intensely throughout the constant bombing. Gameplay moments in tank warfare are shown for the first time from the inside to show how it feels to control one of these and it dominantly scales over rubble. We already saw cut-scenes of aerial combat back in E3 2018 trailer already but another look was there too. How several fractions interact in a multiplayer and new maps are shown briefly.

Among all those gunfire and explosions, soldiers were busy fighting each other on streets of Dutch city. Aside from gunfights, melee combat will have its unique place when players will come face to face with enemies. Developers have previously disclosed about some engaging "War Story" campaign modes that will probably shape up the outcome of war. Nearing the end of the video, what we momentarily saw can be the exclusive first-look at the much-anticipated Battle Royale mode.

World War II-themed shooter title Battlefield V is currently scheduled for a release window of October 19, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. To get access in advance, you are advised to pre-order the Deluxe Edition of the game and start from on October 16. Though the alleged scene of Battle Royale mode was shown from an aerial shot, we are hopeful that we will get a full-length video on that very soon as well.
