Classic Goku and Vegeta Comes to Dragon Ball FighterZ
Long after the game's release, Dragon Ball FighterZ is adding base Goku and Vegeta to their roster of playable characters.
Already including two different versions of them in Arc System Works and Bandai Namco's acclaimed 2.5D fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ, classic version of Goku and Vegeta is finally being added to the roster as playable characters. We also are aware that after winning both critics and audiences over all major platforms, now the game is coming to Nintendo Switch in September 28, 2018 and it was announced by Nintendo during E3 2018 press conference last month.

Among the two fan-favorite heroes from Dragon Ball universe, Goku character trailer leaves an impression of lighthearted spirit that reflects his personality.

Vegeta on the other hand doesn't seem like to be on an easy going mode and totally unleashes his fury on his featured trailer.

Previously added versions of both Goku and Vegeta were anything but their base characters, which are going to be fixed through a premium downloadable content pass on next month. DBF already has a wonderful rendition of each character from the franchise and it was nice to see designs for these heroes are still faithful to the anime. Vegeta still retains his brown tail wrapped around him like all Saiyans and it's good to see on him because it is later chopped off in the series.

We are not sure if the main protagonists are bringing some throwback origin stories along with them but Vegeta's early design subtly suggests something like that. However, somewhere along the line it seems a bit weird that two of the main protagonists from original anime series the game is based on are added to its roster through DLC long after launching the title. The DLC pass is currently available for $34.99 only and features six new characters, including Broly, Bardock and two of the above mentioned ones.
