State of Decay 2 Crosses 2 Million Players
State of Decay 2 creates record by bagging over 2 million players in first two weeks of worldwide launch.
Open world zombie survival game State of Decay 2 from Undead Labs and Microsoft Studios was out on May 22 and got an amazing start. Within two days after launch, the game has built a strong community of over 1 million players. Now, in less than two weeks of release on PC and Xbox One, they have gathered a force of 2 million survivors. It's really remarkable to see these many players sharing a post-apocalyptic world for resources and fighting undead hordes to keep up.

With so many players participating in the game, there are many interesting numbers popping out. For example, survivors have already slain nearly 2 billion zombies, which is one third of Earth's population now! Over 121,000 community stories were completed at the same time and newer ones were built on map for facing new challenges. Players have learned to stay alive for straight three days on average and all of these numbers indicates their dedication and excitement.

The developers are also tirelessly trying to provide major bug-fixes, minor tuning in gameplay and other improvements for a satisfying experience playing. Additional contents and regular updates will maintain their flow from Undead Labs to sustain this incredible community. The already refined story setup charmed its magic through a bit of open-world exploring, slight role-playing, some third-person action during zombie-killing and then nicely balancing all of those aspects together.

Needless to say, State of Decay 2 has just begun its steps and more bands of survivors will join soon, which we hope to grow even further. You begin your journey in a small-town of America and start a quest for scavenging while constantly trying to save your skin from zombies; you build up a community to start a new life at the end of the world and contribute as much as you can, which is the whole game in a nutshell. So, when are you finally joining the big hustle, eh?
