Milla Jovovich to Star in Monster Hunter Movie
Director of the Resident Evil movies, Paul W.S. Anderson is working once again with Milla Jovovich in Monster Hunter movie.
Although video game movies have a track record of being unable to please critics or even successful at box-office, Hollywood will keep making them. What we have up next is something we never expected but would still welcome anyway.
Reportedly, Constantin Film has just signed director Paul W.S. Anderson (Alien vs. Predator, Death Race) for a live-action Monster Hunter movie, which will also star his wife and actress Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element, Ultraviolet).

Known mostly for her role as Alice in Resident Evil movie series from Capcom, Jovovich will team up with Anderson once again. After RE movies grossed $1.2 dollars so far and Constantin Film has set a budget of $60 million for upcoming MH project.
Jovovich starred in all six films of RE film franchise and Anderson directed four of them except Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Resident Evil: Extinction. Given their past records, current budget will not likely to be a risky venture for Constantin Film.

If Paul W.S. Anderson can make magic happen once again for his upcoming video game movie (and making die-hard fans upset doing that), we probably are in for a few more films and maybe another huge franchise with truly amazing visuals.
Latest installment of Monster Hunter action role-playing game series was released in January, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which quickly became one of the most successful titles of Capcom by selling over 7.9 million copies within March.
