Street Fighter V Season 3 DLC Characters Revealed
Upon crowning a new champion, Capcom Cup 2017 has finally came to an end with the conclusion of PlayStation Experience 2017. Capcom fans have watched and enjoyed the tournament by either visiting live at PSX the booth or at the comfort of their own couch. The year 2017 has been a great year for games and Capcom has done some pretty amazing things too. One of them is to announcing the hugely anticipated Arcade Edition for Street Fighter V.

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will come out on January 16, 2018 with a secondary V-Trigger move for every characters of the game. Till date, Season 2 of Street Fighter V has brought in five brand new characters along with fan-favorite demon warrior Akuma. All of the newcomers added a new dynamics to the game with their unique story and gameplay. Now, it demands that Season 3 brings more charisma to the title by introducing another six new awesome DLC characters.
Whereas Capcom used to tease us with the possibility of the characters for the following year, this year they broke the tradition. They revealed all six DLC characters for Season 3 in the cinematic opening trailer for the upcoming Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition!
The trailer starts with Ryu trying to meditate to control his powers as he sees Akuma approaching towards him from behind a waterfall. Then we are indulged in the beautiful mastery of the montage that re-introduces the franchise once again. It beautifully portrays the world of Street Fighter and the legendary world warriors who shaped the tournament as well as the universe of the game each playfully introduce themselves to the audience through their signature gesture or movements.
Within the rally of these worthy fighters who already made it to the Street Fighter V roster till now and then some new faces, that are yet to be included. These six new faces for Street Fighter V Season 3 DLC characters to be are Blanka, Cody, Falke, G, Sagat and Sakura. Four of them are from previous installments of the game except Falke and G, who are the newcomers here. The Season 3 Character Pass will get you all six of them as soon as they are released to join the brawl.
From her days of chasing Ryu for becoming his apprentice and constantly being at fight with her rival fighter Karin, Sakura has grown up and changed a lot. She definitely is not that cute-little school girl anymore as she is seeking new adventures after graduation. Kasugano Residence will be her very own stage, which took inspiration from her stage in Street Fighter Alpha 2. Sakura will be the first among the six to join the battle on January 16, 2018, while release date for the five others remains still unannounced.
There was also an announcement for Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, which is an anthology pack featuring 12 awesome titles from the Street Fighter saga since 1987. So, this looks like a perfect opportunity to get all those iconic games altogether for a trip to nostalgia lane. Plus, you get to hone your skills with games like Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike from the collection.
There is an Interactive Timeline to display the 30 years of Street Fighter glory full of concept arts, documents, little-known trivia and music archives related to each of the game. Also, each fighter has their bios to go deep into their character's backstory. Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection will be priced only $39.99 and come out on May 2018 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
