One Piece: World Seeker Announced
Bandai Namco is a video game developer company that produced games like Tales of Berseria and Tekken series. One Piece on the other hand is a very popular Japanese manga series that has also been adapted into an anime. Referring it as “Project Dawn”, Bandai Namco has been working on it for some time and recently they have announced to bring a new game based on One Piece titled "One Piece: World Seeker" for PlayStation 4 in Japan.
Namco also revealed later that they are also releasing the game for America and Europe on PC and Xbox One too. As for a release date, all we know that the game is going to come out at some point in 2018 and nothing more than that. One Piece: World Seeker will be an open-world action adventure experience of Monkey D. Luffy and his band of Straw Hat Pirates.
To throw us a little bone, Bandai Namco's official Twitter account has posted these four brand-new screenshot of the game.
Since Luffy goes around the world looking for his ultimate treasure, players will be allowed to take his role and roam into castles, cities, beaches and other diverse locations of an expansive world. To be honest, this is how a proper One Piece game should be made. With the backlash experience Namco previously had with One Piece: Burning Blood, World Seeker is to be considered as their major comeback to play.
The reason to develop this latest One Piece video game title is to 20th anniversary of the One Piece manga and the open-world nature of the game will be a perfect way to represent the true spirit of the franchise. We can expect to see the first trailer clip for One Piece: World Seeker within December 16 to 17 during the Jump Festa 2018 at Japan.
