Catherine: Full Body First Trailer
Only days after the announcement for 2011's puzzle platformer adventure title Catherine remake as Catherine: Full Body for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, Atlus and Studio Zero have dropped the first trailer for this upcoming project at a livestream on Nico Nico on December 22. The entire clip is mostly filled with small cutscenes and illustrations from the game and so far, no significant change in the gameplay is noticeable yet.
Now witness the first trailer for Catherine: Full Body is released by Atlus and learn more about the rumor of adding a third "Catherine" to the game this time.
The plot of the game revolves around Vincent Brooks who is already troubling with two enormously gorgeous ladies, Catherine and Katherine. The former came to his life when the latter was already there for five years and complicates Vincent's life by having a one night stand with him. That's not the end of the story. Right after this mishap, he discovers himself in a nightmare realm every time he goes to sleep where he constantly struggles to keep up from dying by climbing puzzled tower blocks.

This is something that anyone who played the original title already knows but what makes this remake more interesting is that it adds more to the pile and that starts with bringing another bombshell into the play. The third "Catherine" of the game is named Rin and she is a pianist at the Stray Sheep bar. Beside that nickname, we don't even know her age and how she will impact on the life of a troubled Vincent.

However, there is a twist nearing the end of the trailer that has been making buzzes and making some fans angry in advance speculation. After Rin and Vincent get to know each other, they end up in a room and she stands nude in front of him. As he looks at her loins, his eyes go wide and jaws drop in what seems like a shock. Whereas many are speculating that the reaction is of finding out that Rin is a trans-woman, Atlus denied to issue any comment on the subject.
We think if they can handle Rin being trans-woman well, then it would add more fun to the plot but since the studio already ill-treated another trans character named Erica in the same game, players are skeptical. Though there is no official release date yet, Catherine: Full Body will be released on winter 2018 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
